Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities for a Finance Manager:
Ensuring maintenance of books of accounts for entities in East Africa
Preparation of annual budgets, preparation of monthly variance analysis, and reporting to Management Close monitoring of AR and highlighting the breaches.
Support the business team for recovery of any overdue outstanding Close monitoring of AP. Ensure smooth working relationship with external business partners/ vendors/ suppliers Preparation of periodic cash flow projections and submission to Management for review Close monitoring of Working Capital and working closely with the business team for achievement of optimization
Ensure closure of annual statutory audits
Ensure sufficient internal controls in the business ops
Identify any potential areas for business process improvement and identify any potential area for money leakage; cost control
Preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax and statutory returns.
Ensure full compliance of local taxation (direct and indirect) and regulations
Ensure smooth and cordial relation with all third parties; taxation, Govt liaison, tax consultants, statutory auditors

Qualifications:
CPA having 4-5 years of experience in the big four (4)
