Job Description


Support to operationalize the accounting function of the University.

Key, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Participate in the revenue Budget Preparation, monitoring & control;
2. Maintain accounting records and reporting;
3. Monitor revenue and expenditure performance against budget;
4. Reconcile revenue collected to bank account;
5. Review accounting systems, identify weaknesses and propose improvements;
6. Contribute towards innovations, creativity and fundraising strategy;
7. Process payments and perform clerical works as assigned;
8. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications
An Honors degree in Commerce, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting, Finance & Accounting, Finance).

Skills/Competences
1. Must be industrious and self-driven;
2. Integrity;
3. Must be computer literate;
4. Excellent communication skills;
5. Ability to with stand pressure;
6. Able to lead and build teams;
7. Financial management and budgeting skills;
