Baptist Union of Uganda (BUU) a faith based organization that brings together all Baptist Churches in Uganda has a strong partnership with compassion international – Uganda in child ministry through sponsorship and home based care. BUU seeks to recruit competent persons to fill the positions

Position: Project Director (2 positions)
Station: Mmembe, Kitumba Baptist Churches
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
The project Director shall be the team leader of the project staff. He /she is expected to offer knowledge, guidance and technical skills to children, child development committees, church, parents and fellow project workers in areas of spiritual development, project planning and budgeting, comprehensive health care, social development and academic advancement He /she is to ensure that all programmatic financial and sponsor service aspects of the project are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Act as the accounting officer for all Project funds, ensuring that all funds are used for their intended purpose and in adherence to the set policies.
• Supervise the Implementation of the approved project plan and budget with monthly assessments done in conjunction with other stakeholders.
• Submit monthly reports to the Overseer, the Child Development Committee and other Partners as required.

Requirements:
• Must be a mature born again Christian with proven integrity and passion for child ministry
• Bachelor’s degree holder in related field of social works, education, Business Administration, development studies
• 3 years’ minimum experience in working with children MUST have knowledge in computer skills, project management
• Skills in financial management
