Responsibilities
• Planning Management, Risk Management and Compliance Management
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Accurately prepare Financial documents like Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statements etc as required by our Shareholders and Directors on a timely manner
• Make sure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions is accurately recorded and on time.
• Reconcile Accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and & ledger maintenance
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Mentors and trains staff reporting to him/ her to ensure business continuity
• Institutes systems that ensure checks and balances so as company assets (raw materials, finished products etc) are maintained without loss
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Recommend cost cutting measures to increase revenue

Qualifications
• Full CPA/ ACCA is mandatory
• Masters’ degree in Finance/ Accounting is an added advantage

Details of experience
• Experience at a Manufacturing Company is an added advantage
• 5 years or more in a senior Finance Role
