Areas of operation:
A.-Kiruddu, Kibuye, Kansanga (2 positions)
B.-Kampala Central Business District (1 position)
Reports to: Branch Team Leader
Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy
Experience: 1 year dispensing in a busy location

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Issue stock items and prepared prescriptions in accordance to good dispensing practices.
• Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage.
• Ensure that drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions including refrigerated items, controlled drugs and expired drugs.
• Ensuring clean, tidy and properly functional work surfaces, fittings, dispensing equipment and shelving.
• Maintaining full and accurate records of all stock, dispensing and regulatory records such as prescription, sales, purchases registers, temperature and humidity maintain logs.
• Ensure a high level of service of customer service including answering queries and providing pharmaceutical consultancy to patients regarding their prescriptions.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance of the premises and proceedures.
• Assist in stock checks.

Education and Experience
• Diploma in Pharmacy required.
• One year’s work experience needed.
• Experience using MS Windows, Microsoft Outlook and MS Office packages, in particular Excel, Word and powerpoint.
• Hands-on experience with data entry into online databases and forms.

• Ability to safe guard confidential information.
• Strong customer service ethic and abilities.
• Self-motivated to perform routine tasks independently and meet deadlines.
