Job Title: Superintendent-Civil Maintenance
Job Ref: 2021.08.76/PR-M-CM-83
Reporting to Civil Engineer;

Duties:
• Assigning and allocating Carpenters and joiners specific tasks and monitor the quality of the work performance and output.
• Ensuring a well-coordinated work flow scheduling to optimize proper use of Manpower, Machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring proper preventive and contingency maintenance of machine and instruments to sustain their productivity.
• Providing technical guidance and on the job training to subordinate staff to improve their skill and teach students on Industrial training.
• Checking and monitoring all raw materials receipts, storage and issues to ensures proper control and accountability.
• Ensuring good housekeeping and maintaining clean and safe working environment in the workshop at all times.
• Ensuring that technical specifications provided by user clients and customers are correct to enable proper basis for costing.
• Preparing and submitting routine and adhoc reports/returns with relevant statistics to the Civil Engineer.
• Checking and authorizing all the repair and maintenance orders from the company establishments and inspect the completed work Performing other related duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Civil Engineer from time to time.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have Bachelors in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with good knowledge in renovation work, Carpentry and joinery. A Certificate in Architecture and Technical drawing will be an added advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of at least five to ten years of proven experience in a busy organization (evidence of previous employment is required)
Have valid driving permit. Be available-ready to work for long hours inclusive calls on odd times. Should be self-motivated and a team leader
