The project manager will be responsible for project management and implementation, financial management, organizational management, monitoring and result measurement (MRM), reporting, project communications and representation, human resource management, and business development. The duties will involve the extensive application of an inclusive systems development approach through partnership with private and public sector players to deliver sustainable impact. The project manager will be responsible for the development of innovations that can be replicated within and beyond the region.

Qualifications and skills
• Minimum 10 years of work experience preferably in senior roles in the private sector with the desire to transition to development. A mix of private sector and development experience involving management of donor-funded programs in Uganda or beyond would be advantageous.
• Advanced degree in Business (MBA), International Development, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Rural Development, Enterprise Development Project Planning, and Management or another relevant field.
• Demonstrable skills in project management, financial management, advocacy, leadership resource mobilization, procurement, communication, strategic planning, implementation, and good knowledge of private sector and public sector operations. Business case design and implementation is a must.
