Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Country Revenue Growth Management (Uganda), to join the CCBA Country Commercial Team. The successful applicant will be reporting into Country Commercial.

The role will contribute to CCBA vision by collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting all information related to Local Market sales in an on-going effort to optimize and increase sales productivity and support Commercial Director and sales teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and be responsible for all decision-making relevant to the category, including brand, pack, market expansions as well as a strategic outlook.
• Design and manage the portfolio and OBPPC strategy defining brand portfolio strategy by channels, its correlation with target occasions and revenue pools.
• Design the OBPPC by Country to build their detailed price and pack architecture, competitive rules of engagement and execution directives that will deliver the revenue and margin targets in line with the OBPPC Group priorities.
• Continuously review assortment optimization to drive mix and maximize reviews
• Establish Commercial policies to define PTC and Promotion Spend by country, as well as solutions to optimize performance-based spendings. Through promotional analytics continuously manage clashing principles within our own NARTD portfolio to manage depth and frequency of promotions
• Perform the Commercial policies communication regarding DME and DFR spent by Category/Channel defined by Growth Office.
• Lead and develop breakthrough thinking about how effectively leverage shopper/occasion marketing strategies at a portfolio, brand and channel level.
• Provide local insights and recommendations to maximize revenue and profit Growth potential at company level.
• Build the local market selling stories for sales staff and customer by category by opportunity referencing how to win.
• Identify white spaces within category portfolio and drive innovation protocols to unlock value
• Support and develop gap closure plan for RGM and Integrated Execution Processes

Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree: Finance, Economics or Business Administration
Post Graduate Qualification advantageous

Experience:
• 15-20 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in senior management position
• Proven broad Commercial experience including Revenue Growth Management
• Demonstration of market, customer, consumer and shopper knowledge and insights (outside in thinking)
• Strong and proven financial and business acumen with demonstrated experience in understanding of full value chain levers and ability to drive productivity to improve GP/EBIT margins
• Proven experience developing and leading Commercial teams to achieve positive business results and/or customer objectives
• Ability to develop strategies and deliver initiatives against agreed business objectives
• Proven experience in in multi-category and multi-geographic (preference for across Africa) operations
• Proven record of high credibility and the ability to influence and work through others to achieve the Commercial agenda
• Demonstrated ability to manage in a networked complex environment with multiple stakeholders across the System (countries and KO teams)
• Credibility to engage and influence CCBA Group ExCom members
