We seek to recruit a dynamic, competent, experienced, and professionally confident self-motivated individual, who is also a committed team player to strengthen our staff capacity by filling the following vacant position.
Job Title: BUSINESS LEAD – EAC (01 Post)
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

Job Purpose
Devise and manage strategies and techniques for achieving consistent and profitable growth of sales revenues and targets through effective planning and continuously generating new opportunities for the Company.

Will be responsible for:
• Driving and implementing the Company’s Sales Agenda and Strategy for the organization in the respective geographic locations in order to achieve the sales targets
• Managing and administering the sales function effectively for all the regions assigned in order to achieve the desired sales and profitability
• Implementing the sales plans for the team in order to motivate and reward them for their performance and achievement of sales targets on time
• Establishing effective reporting and forecasting processes for the sales team in order to ensure timely and up to date reporting of sales
• Collaborating cross-functionally to align and identify opportunities to support the achievement of sales objectives and profitability for the business
• Leading and managing the sales team by developing and motivating them in order to achieve their objectives and career growth

Qualifications:
• Business Degree in Management, MBA
Knowledge & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales role covering all the areas of the function preferably within Pharma industry and more than 5 years in Senior Leadership role in Sales and Marketing
• Experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, Bid management and institutional sales
• In-depth understanding of regulatory norms pertaining to pharmaceutical product registration, market authorization, IP Registration,
• Extensive experience in managing relationships with institutions and trade market Importers across emerging markets.
• Worked in EAC countries with procurement bodies line KEMSA and Medical Store of Tanzania
• Experience in driving sales and business strategy in the EAC countries.
