Organization Profile Fields of Life (FOL) is a non-denominational Christian and International Development Organization founded in 1993 as a response to the effects of war from which Uganda was recovering. With 28 years of working with communities in East Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and South Sudan), FOL exists to be an effective Christian response where there is suffering and injustice in East Africa and beyond.

Job Title: Quality Education Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Programmes
Duty Station: Kampala Office with regular travels to the field.

Role, Purpose & Context
To play a leading role in planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the FOL Quality Education Programme, and building positive relationships with key players in line with the vision, mission and goals of the organisation. The post holder will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT)

Key Responsibilities
• Education program management
• Oversee and maintain the Education database, generate and disseminate summaries and report tracking systems.
• Liaison and support
• Supervise, appraise and build capacity of Education officers in line with organization policies; enhancing the relevant knowledge and skills.
• Reporting and Coordination
• Other duties as may be requested by the Line Manager

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other humanities
• Post Graduate qualification in education, project planning, or M&E
• Not less than 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience as a classroom teacher would be an added advantage
• Project Planning and Management or Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
