On behalf of our national based client- Vallourec, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced desk engineer.

Job summary:
Reporting to the Account Manager for Services, you will ensure all process and procedures are in place to deliver a high level of service performance safely without impacting the environment, provide technical support and guidance related to our products and services in the field, attend and contribute to customer QHSE meetings, support customer audits of other contractors such as tubular running companies if required and supervise loading and unloading operations at stockyard or rig sites.

Key Roles and responsibilities
• Support the Account Manager by developing and implementing project specific TMS and/or VFS operational and QHSE procedures
1. Review online document library and benchmark Vallourec services bases where necessary to create a VOGU QA Manual.
2. Adapt and validate the procedure.
3. Implement the procedure locally.
• Support the Account Manager to recruit and train local content and the following activities
1. Assist to deliver training locally using existing VAM material or seek support internally where material does not exist.
• Provide technical support & guidance to the client
1. TMS activities – storage, handling and logistics and accessories
2. VFS activities – deck inspection, running and graph interpretation, set up of tubular running equipment
• Customer Focus
1. Participate and contribute to regular QHSE and operations meetings
2. Strive to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist in leading small inspection team
1. Lead and mentor 4 Worksite Assistants, 4 Inspection Supervisors and 8 Inspection Assistants whilst they are on duty in the field of operations.

Qualifications and experience
• Vallourec OCTG product knowledge
• VAM Field Service running procedures
• 5 years seniority running various VAM products
• Logistics operations (storage, handling & transportation)
• Understanding of Drilling Operations and familiarity with the Oil & Gas environment
• High level of QHSE understanding
• Troubleshooting regarding operations
• Giving advice and guidance to clients
• Delivering training or presentations
• FIFO, periodic inspection, stocktaking and inventory management systems experience
• 3 years working with a reputable Oil and Gas company
• Accessory manufacturing and assemblies
• QHSE audit experience
• Man management
