We’re making Africa the first cashless continent.
In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That’s for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We’re solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don’t always work, you can still send money with Wave. In November 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. In 2019, we expanded to Cote d’Ivoire. Now, we have millions of users and are growing fast. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent. And that’s where you come in….

How you’ll help us achieve it
We’re looking for an Agent Training Administrator to support our training function. You will be responsible for communicating with agents and vendors and assisting the trainers with reserving training rooms, dispatching training goodies, calling the agents, and organizing training agendas, files, and goodies. You will ensure that all agents participate in our training and that the training sessions run smoothly.

In this role, you’ll
• Call and invite agents to in-region training organized by the trainers.
• Maintain training records (e.g., trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets).
• Book training rooms and ensure proper setup.
• Prepare and disseminate material (e.g., instructional notes, feedback forms)
• Act as a point-of-contact for vendors and participants.
• Handle and respond to daily agent training requests.
• Organize daily agents’ training based on demand and observation.
• Develop creative and innovative approaches to present training programs to agents.
• Handle accounts receivable and ensure invoices are paid.
• Submit reports on training activities and results daily and Weekly.
• Write daily/Weekly notes.

Key details
• Work authorization in Uganda is required
• You will frequently travel to our points of agent training across Uganda.
• This is a permanent position

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as a Training Administrator, HR Assistant, or a similar role.
• 1+ years experience in project management and coordination
• Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
• Solid communication skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, or a related field is an added advantage
• Previous experience with Agent Network is an added advantage.
