Position holder will coordinate and supervise daily operations across all MUg laboratory sections, provide oversight, technical review and guidance on all laboratory testing processes, equipment maintenance, Quality assurance and customer feedback ensuring efficient, reliable and effective laboratory service at Mildmay Uganda to support patient care, training, research and health systems strengthening.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent. Postgraduate training in Laboratory Quality Management and Biomedical Sciences as well as training or experience in ISO 15189, GCLP implementation. The successful candidate will have 5 years’ technical experience in a busy medical laboratory and 3 years in a team leadership position.
