Summary
Reporting to the Digital Systems Lead, the Applications Developer will be responsible for designing and developing web and mobile applications for both ios and android devices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following duties:
• Design and develop web and mobile applications for ios and android devices using relevant software development technologies.
• Work with the client to establish detailed project unique features and specifications for development of all applications including UI/UX Design.
• Analyze, design, program, test, troubleshoot, document and maintain IT systems or applications
• Generate client proposals related to applications development
• Collaboratively work with digital solutions team and users to create world-class digital experiences.
• Develop application specifications, designs, source codes, modules and required integrations.
• Carry out application testing before launching to ensure accuracy.
• Provide maintenance support to clients internally and/or externally as per the project requirements
• Design and develop fully operational websites for clients using tools such as Visual Basic, Java script, CSS3, HTML, MySQL etc.
• Boost the SEO of client’s websites to reflect outstanding search ranking.
• Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and websites
• Conduct monthly website/email server maintenance and updates
• Research & implement new technologies to maximize client’s satisfaction.
• Write detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users.
• Handle and troubleshoot all security threats.
• Train users and team members in new technology to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, computer engineering or related field. A Masters’ degree is a plus.
• Experience in SEO and Responsive Web Designs.
• Working experience in ios/android app development
• Experience in web applications and UX/UI is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as C, C+, C++, Java, Python, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
