Overview United Future Foundation Uganda (UFFU) is affiliated to the Australian-based not-for profit School for Life Foundation and operates 3 schools in Mpigi district, delivering holistic education to over 1,000 Nursery, Primary and Secondary students across 2 campuses located in Mbazzi and Katuuso. Vacancies exist for motivated and experienced professionals of high integrity to join our team in the following roles:

Position: Matron (Girls Dorm)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all matters concerning the students, hygiene, welfare and discipline. Provide confidential counselling and guidance to the student.
• Coordinate with the school nurse to provide appropriate medical attention to students.
• To maintain general hygiene with the dormitories.
• Coordinate with security team to ensure security and safety of students and equipment at all times.

Person Specifications
• A Diploma in Social Development, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing etc.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Boarding House Matron, or in a similar role in an educational setting Knowledge and skills in administering First Aid.
• Demonstrable knowledge and competency may substitute experience.
