Faculty of Health Sciences
Department of Nursing and Midwifery
Position: Nurse Tutor (1 Position)
Midwifery Tutor (1 Position)
Duty Station: UMU Main Campus Nkozi
Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences

Academic Qualifications and Experience
• The candidates should be in possession of a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery with a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education, or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Education plus a Master’s degree in health related field.
• Should have at least a CGPA of 3.5 and above,
• Must have at least 3 years working experience post qualification as a Tutor from a recognized Institution, and
• Should be registered with the professional body, (Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council) with valid practicing License.
• She/he should have a satisfactory record of teaching, research supervision, and service to the academic and wider community.
