Cotton On Foundation (COF) is the philanthropic arm of the Australian retail company Cotton On Group and was officially established in 2007. The Cotton On Foundation is passionately driven by our team to create sustainable change in the environment and lives of those in need. Cotton on Foundation Uganda implements activities in 5 pillars namely,

EDUCATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR (3)
POSITION PURPOSE

The role of the Education Program Coordinator is to work alongside the community and schools in order to provide sustainable, quality education in the Cotton On Foundation (COF) program area.
The role will promote improved learning environments and community participation in education activities. The role will also monitor and assist COF partner schools to improve the quality of education provided and also to ensure that the learning and involvement remains collegial, effective and supportive of student and community needs. The Education Program Coordinator will also commit to the provision of a quality education by implementing the Quality Education Model (Wellbeing, Teaching and Learning, Ever better, Leadership and Governance, Culture, Monitoring and Evaluation, Buildings and Resources and Community engagement.)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND
• Bachelor of Education. Qualifications in Primary or Secondary Education
• Proven experience of Relationship building in rural schools and communities
• Detailed and accurate reporting of performance and achievement
• Diverse knowledge in quality education programming, community mobilization and engagement
• Diverse knowledge of integrated activity implementation at school level.

OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
• Good interpersonal skills, high level of integrity and good moral conduct
• Excellent written English and computer skills
• Self-directed and capable of working with minimum supervision
• Ability to work within tight deadlines for proposal development / reporting
• Strong commitment to Cotton On Foundation’s cause and values
• An open personality and acceptance of all races, creeds and cultures
• Ability to speak Luganda will be highly beneficial
