Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

• Responsible for management and operation of the Banking Operations Section, as per the MTN Group and Localized Treasury Policies.

Main Job Functions:

• Supervision of the Banking Operations Team
• Review daily Bank Account reconciliations for both UGX & USD MTN Uganda Accounts.
• Daily Review of Journals for Postpaid transactions.
• Ensure Board approved Signatories are active on all the Bank Platforms.
• Verify MTN payments on the respective Banking Platforms.
• Review Bank Operations Transactions in Oracle.
• Review end of month reconciliation reports.
• Funds Transfer Bank Detail and GL Update.
• Treasury Back Office Management.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce.
• Professional Qualification i.e. ACCA or CPA

Experience:

• 4 -5 years working experience in a busy Finance Function
• Experience with Accounting /Financial Systems
