Job Description
COO’s Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate small and independent team. Current team requires little supervision; however, support with business leads and training will be required. As COO, you are to set an example by excelling at closing large sales orders.
- Educate and convince existing and prospective customers to purchase water treatment products and systems solutions – both on-grid and solar powered – water tanks, back up power systems and solar powered pumps.
- Answer customers’ questions regarding product pricing, availability, product features and benefits;
- Prepare relevant Case Studies to fully illustrate the advantages of our products versus buying bottled water plus the added benefits of drinking clean water;
- Highlight the importance of buying into a healthy lifestyle and emphasize each product’s features to show how our solutions can create a cost-savings and health enhancement solution;
- Identify opportunities to increase B2B sales and submit proposals and quotations;
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas. Sales track record is a MUST. A minimum sales quota is expected for each month, each quarter and each year;
- Contact leads and arrange appointments to present our products to seriously interested prospective customers.Closing sales leads is a requirement;
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships. We work with the CRM software, VTIGER! Experience with a leading CRM software package is a definite plus;
- Assist the CEO in the development and execution of viable and effective sales and marketing strategies.
Sales Executive Background/Requirements
- Sales experience and an excellent track record are key. We seek an ambitious motivated COO & Senior Sales Executive who can deliver results.
- University degree in Sales& Marketing or Business Administrationis preferable and advantageous
- At least three years of selling experience with a successful track record. Please indicate your quarterly and annual sales achievements .
- Proven sales experience . Experience selling water treatment systems and/or back up power systems is a definite plus
- Effective communication skills and excellent networking skills
- Connections to our target customer groups is a plus
- Relationships with NGOs and local municipalities leaders/decisions makers is a definite plus
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sound consultative selling skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Hands-on experience with CRM Salesforce software or a similar CRM software is a definite plus
