Purpose of the Position:
Fairventures Worldwide is seeking a creative, enthusiastic and innovative intern with excellent communication skills to work full-time while supporting our communications department. The communications Intern shall be supervised by the Communications Coordinator.

The Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the company’s social media presence.
• Creating content on various platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and any other platform as well as engaging with our online community.
• Creating content in advance and scheduling it on social media with scheduling tools.
• Creating content with various tools such as Canva on any other design software.
• Research and develop social media strategies to increase followers and engagement.
• Assisting with video and audio scripting, filming and photography.
• Participate in coordinating and implementing comprehensive communication strategies.
• Regularly update appropriate information and organize files on google drive.
• Support designing and type-setting of FVW generated Information, Education and Communication materials before publishing;
• Any other duties based on guidance of his/her supervisor.

Qualifications:
• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Information Technology, Environmental Management or any related discipline.

Key Competences and Experiences:
• Excellent writing, documentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms and management.
• Good hands-on computer skills.
• Experience in using design and publishing software like Canva, Adobe photoshop or Illustrator is an added advantage.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and team work skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and a strategic thinking skills.
