Chief Tubing Engineer -Engineering Project Team
Location: Kampala, Albert Lake production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.

Primary function:
• Responsible for the engineering, construction technical support and coordination of the feederline in KF Oilfield development area.

Responsibilities:
• Understands the Mission Statement and ensures it is implemented it in daily project work
• Ensures that the relevant parts of the Project Execution Plan and the Project Procedures are implemented.
• Executes projects in the best interest of the company with quality, safety, and integrity.
• Leads the team, maintains communication process and promotes teamwork.
Promotes innovation and cost saving, recommends improvements to procedures and practices.
• Implements the requirements of each assigned task and seeks clarification as required from the appropriate source.
• Initiates action to change requirements that are nolonger valid in order to facilitate improvements to prevent recurrence of problems.
Maintains knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and if supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensures they comply with established safety policies, procedures and safe work habits.
Appropriately acts on and monitors the clearance of corrective actions and audit findings.
• Conforms to company policies and specific contract requirements.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum, chemical or mechanical engineering or the related.
• At least 12-year related working experience in Oil & Gas industry including 6-year experience in engineering design.
• International working experience is preferred. Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of the criteria, procedure and software of the discipline.
Have a high level of engineering and technology, particularly in the oil and gas industry with the means for rotating equipment, pipes, containers, tanks and other related knowledge, familiar with the manufacturing process and quality control of piping engineering.
• Good skills of the office software and Auto CAD, 3D Model Review.
• Understanding oil engineering, production, etc.
