Electrical Installation Engineer – Engineering Project Team
Location: Kampala, Uganda mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function:
• Responsible for management of all site construction activities of electrical system in Kingfisher oil field project, including Partner’s oilfield development projects.

Responsibilities:
• Design review for the electrical engineering in Kingfisher and Partner’s oil field development projects, ensure all designs are compliant with relevant codes and standards;
Manage supervision team to be responsible for management of all electrical construction activities, including all Packages in Kingfisher oilfield;
• Interface management for interfaces existing among various Contractors who are responsible for various packages;
• Manage relevant permits application stipulated by local regulators for electrical construction activities, liaison with corresponding local regulators to handle permits application issues;
Management of corresponding Contractors for all Packages to adhere to QHSSSE policy approved by Company;
• Management of corresponding Contractors for all Packages to adhere to project schedule approved by Company.
• Organize regular site inspection to ensure construction activities adhere to project schedule
Organize regular site inspection to ensure construction activities compliant with relevant installation standards:
• Responsible for implementation of catch-up measures for construction delay.
• Management of site installations in off-site, including high voltage transmission line from CPF to Kabaale pump station, electrical heat tracing system of feeder line, power distribution system of water intake station, safety check station, well pads, permanent camp, temporary camp, supply base, etc.;
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate;

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical engineering or the related.
At least 12-year related working experience including 8-year site construction management experience in oil &gas industry.
• International working experience in oil & gas project is preferred.

Knowledge:
• Extensive knowledge of the codes and standards of the discipline: Understanding oil engineering, reservoir, drilling and completion, production, etc.;
• Extensive knowledge of gas turbine power generation, power transmission and distribution system;
Extensive knowledge of 132kV system, including gas insulated switchgear, open switchyard, 132kV transmission line system;
• Extensive knowledge of electrical control and management system;
• Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment, including HV/MV/LV transformer, switchgear, generator, UPS, electrical heat tracing system, etc.;
• Extensive knowledge of electrical protection system;
