2 Reservoir Specialist – Geology & Reservoir Project Team (2 positions)
Location: Kampala, Uganda,
Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function:
• To be responsible for the reservoir research work, including the project general arrangement and technical method planning, the reservoir and well performance, reservoir management, long term plan etc.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate the corresponding annual production and medium – long term reservoir and production targets according to the company’s annual and medium – long term development goal.
• Responsible for FDP reservoir execution and tracking, and the FDP reservoir adjustment.
• Monitor and analyze reservoir related data while drilling, to support the drilling and completion team.
Lead the analysis of the oil and gas field production performance, and to work out the appropriate measures to be taken in the field production improvement measures.
• Lead the analysis the producer and injector wells production performance, and to work out the appropriate measures to be taken in single well improvement measurements.
• Responsible for the economic evaluation of reservoir projects, development technology policy research, and cutting-edge technology development research.
Organize the reserve evaluation and the oil and gas field economic evaluation Organize to complete the development research work procedure and the project proposal, the technical negotiation and contract signing.
• Other work related.
Requirements:
• Masters’ Degree or above in Reservoir engineering, Petroleum engineering or related.
• At least 6 years working experience in similar role in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge:
• Familiar with reserve management.
• Skill in reservoir performance analysis.
• Skill in reservoir numerical simulation Understanding the composition of the general development plan and the adjustment plan Knowledge about EOR Knowledge about reservoir development, well drilling completion, stimulation and production
