2 Geophysical Specialist -Geology & Reservoir Project Team (2 positions)
Location: Kampala, Uganda.
Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
To assist the Chief Seismic Engineer with seismic support in the exploratory development blocks, including the compositions of the seismic data acquisition and material interpretation work plan, the seismic acquisition survey line allocation and execution plan and the seismic interpretation plan, etc

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Seismic Engineer to accomplish the following:
• Be responsible for the oil field geophysical research work as in the deep research in the structure and the reservoir bed, the organization of the demonstration in the new well location, well-drilling performance tracking and composing the adjustment proposals. Be responsible for seismic acquisition and material interpretation.
Analyze and interpret the oil field seismic data, and cooperate with geology and reservoir team to improve the development plan.
• Responsible for structure, reservoir evaluation, the plan execution and risk analysis before and after implementation of development plan.
• Be responsible for the seismic acquisition survey design and the execution plan composing supervise the operation of the acquisition, and organize to examine the original seismic acquisition material before acceptance.
Be responsible for the seismic processing plan composing. supervise the operation of the processing, and organize to examine the seismic processing material before acceptance Track the seismic material interpretation work progress and examine the seismic interpretation before acceptance.
• Responsible for the comprehensive analysis of the geophysical related data, and in charge of the model rebuilding or modifying related work.
• Other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Geophysics or seismic or related
• At least 8 years of the related working experience in a similar role in oil and gas industry.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge about geophysical exploration research method Knowledge about the research work procedure of the exploration, development integrate project Knowledge of advanced software.
