Petrophysical Specialist Geology & Reservoir Project Team
Location: Kampala, Uganda,
Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
• To be responsible for well logging technical support in the exploratory development blocks, including the well logging related project general arrangement and technical method designing well-drilling design examination organization of the operation in the company routine well drilling completion and workover, supervision of the wel drilling and completion procedure composing.

Responsibilities:
• In charge of development well drilling site well logging related work, and coordinate Uganda and Beijing petro physical study team. Be responsible for the well logging related for well drilling design, routine well drilling. completion and workover, field development and production.
• Be responsible for the research work in the welllogging material’s processing. interpretation, the reservoir interval evaluation and the well-logging evaluation method. Complete the welllogging evaluation along with the related projects. Participate in the safety management and the environment protection work during the well drilling, completion and workover and make strategic decisions
Instruct and participate in the composition of the well drilling, completion and workover procedure in the field development production the adjustment plan, and participate in the organization of the feasibility study work in the development production and adjustment.
• Participate in organizing and coordinating the bidding issues and service contract signing in geology.
• Propose the bidding procedure and strategy of the service contract and the procurement in the well drilling, completion and workover project as well as the improvement of the efficiency in the resent resources.
Participate in the technical offers and tenders in the well drilling, completion and workover service project and supervise the execution of the contracts.
• Instruct the well drilling and completion professionals to make use of the new technology to improve the efficiency of the well drilling, completion and workover, Other duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Petrophysics, well logging or related
• At least 8 years of the related working experience in a similar role in oil and gas industry.

Knowledge:
• Skill in well logging interpretation. Knowledge about development.
Knowledge about the procedure of the well drilling and completion design and operation Master the use of the advanced software.
