Soft Power Education (SPE) is working with communities in Jinja, Uganda to improve the quality of life through education. We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and independent thinking individual to be our Special Needs Programme Manager based in Jinja City. This individual should have a passion for working with children with special needs as well as an interest in development

The applicant must have:
• University degree or equivalent, preferably in an SEN related subject
• Proven experience in the field of special needs
• Excellent written English
• Excellent organisational and IT skills
• Proven ability to manage a professional team
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, plan ahead, problem solve and meet deadlines
• A keen interest in developing new skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience of self-motivation as well as working within a team
