Job Title: Manager – Program
Reporting to: Senior Manager Enterprise Support

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
To enable fast, quality and cost-effective delivery of MTN Uganda’s enterprise solutions inline with industry standards and best practice in support of the Wholesale, Consumer and Enterprise Business markets.

Main Job Functions:
• Delivery of fibre solutions to Enterprise Business, Consumer and Wholesale Customers within the shortest possible time, maximum quality and cost effectively.
• Contractor management – work with subcontractors to ensure quality delivery of services to the Enterprise Business, Consumer and Wholesale Customers
Process management of the customer journeys for all Wholesale, Enterprise and Consumer customers
• Performance management – monitor performance of contractors both technically and professionally
• Manage training of contractors on customer centric processes
• Inventory management and reporting for all fiber related and customer premise materials on a weekly basis
• SLA management in the delivery to all internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education:
• BSc Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering
Experience:
• At least 5 years’ experience in fibre design, implementation and maintenance works
• At least 5 years’ experience in project management
• At least 4 years’ experience working with Right of Way process is an added advantage
• Experience working on GPON and DWDM technologies is a need
• Experience in IP planning for customers and sites is an added advantage
Trainings & Knowledge:
• Fibre optics design and implementation training (Google Earth, Microsoft Visio)
• GPON equipment and maintenance training is an added advantage
• Project and contractor management skills
• Map reading and surveying skills
• Report writing skills (MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Excel)

Other Attributes:
• Knowledge of Telecommunications industry
• Project management skills
• Vendor or contractor management skills
• Communication/reporting skills (verbal and written)
• Flexibility and Agility in regard to working hours
