Qualifications: Degree in a Business-related field
Added Advantage: Diploma in Taxational or Clearing & Forwarding from a reputable institution, ASYCUDA certified
Experience: 7+ years in a manufacturing company

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Clearing Unit
• Supervision of clearing imports and exports
• Supervision of processing entries in customs
• Supervision of customs Bond Warehouse
• Managing manual and automated registers
• Reconciliation of released Goods from customs
• Reconciliation of Exports at boarder station
• Coordinating with all staff at URA in the day to day operations
• Coordinating with other authorities at Export Promotion Council
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Authority:
1. Reports to the General Manager-Finance;
Interfaces: (titles of people you deal with, e.g. from other departments, sections, customers)
1. Clearing agents
2. URA Officials
3. Suppliers and security firms
4. Customers
