Duties & Responsibilities
• Design, build, install and service mechanical machinery, components, and tools across a range of industries.
• Design, manufacture, and install components that fulfill requirements.
Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
• Creating plans and designs using CAD technology.
• Writing technical documentation for machine operators.
• Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.
• Plan, develop and control of the preventive and corrective maintenance schedule
• To monitor performance of plant and equipment used on site to determine efficiency and maximum utilization
Responsible for provision of spare parts to facilitate repairs in the workshops.
• Ensure plant, machinery and equipment are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance of the team to HSEQ procedures and standards.
• Risk Management within your assigned area of responsibility.
• Preparation of monthly reports on equipment
• Workshop technical support and coordination of multidisciplinary team management (mechanics and electricians)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field.
• 15 years of work experience with proven knowledge in mechanical engineering operations (Industrial automation, mechanical technology, welding, hydraulics and pneumatic).
5 years experience working on international construction projects at a Senior Managerial level is a must.
• Has high knowledge in MS Project, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS Powe Point.
• Has knowledge in ABB S4 Module R1- Automatic Welding.
• Software PHC – Module’s Manufactor and Enterprise “ MFG/PRO.
• Proven ability in Equipment requisition.
• Good knowledge in SOMA, SA-Soc. Montagem Automovies – NORS Group (former Auto Sueco-VOLVO) software.
• Experience working on international oil and Gas construction projects is a must.
Membership to a professional engineering association is a must.
