RASILIMALI People Uganda is looking for a Recruitment Consultant/Talent Acquisition Executive to join its dynamic Team
Job Summary:
The Recruitment consultant will mainly be responsible for attracting candidates and matching them to permanent or temporary positions with client companies. They will work with client companies, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. The Recruitment consultants provide a vital link between clients and candidates.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The role is demanding and diverse and involves using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
2. The incumbent will be visiting clients to build and develop relationships;
3. In charge of developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, plus their work culture and environment;
4. Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines;
5. The jobholder will be using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers;
6. Responsible for headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client’s vacancy
7. In charge of receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client;
8. Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client;
9. Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question;
10. Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding of suitable applicants;
11. Organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client;
12. In charge of informing candidates about the results of their interviews;
13. Responsible for negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates;
14. Providing advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
15. Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated;
16. Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. The ideal candidate should hold an under graduate degree subject or Higher Diploma with requisite skills, relevant experience and abilities
2. At least 2 years’ work experience in a fast paced environment
3. Work experience in sales, marketing or any customer-oriented role is useful.

Remuneration: Salary will be based on a Retainer and performance based bonus
