To resolve claims efficiently and fairly in a manner that promotes the company’s brand values and provide consistently high standard of customer service across the whole organization especially at the point of contact with customers.
• Registering all claims as they come in for processing.
Investigating the nature of the claims where necessary and determining insurance policy coverage and reserving.
• Working closely with the other team members including legal consultants and escalating matters as appropriate within timelines.
• Maintenance of proper records with details of the claims processed, paid and outstanding.
• Analysing the Net Client Cash Flow for pensions
• Providing weekly and monthly claims reports for management consideration.
• Notification to Business Analyst in respect to recoveries.
• Follow up to obtain full documentation pertaining claims
Follow up of all claims to ensure timely payments
• Follow up of Discharge vouchers sent to corporate clients
• Coordinate review meetings with both clients and company to monitor services
• Undertake any other duties as required commensurate with the level of the position.
• Analyse claims and prepare appropriate response in line with with policies, procedures and standards.
Follow standard procedure to assess and finalise claims in line with M&F standards – Update log ¿ Update broker Finalise on BPM and financial system
• Keep broker informed at all times in terms of progress of claim
• Build positive customer relations and solve or escalate customer queries and complaints
• Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and provide reporting and analysis.
• Continuously strive to enhance and improve the claims processes.
• Identify and report on claims process issues.
