Job Responsibilities
• Act as a project manager within the global marketing team, coordinating various projects in Uganda and other Fenix markets
• Support the rollout of an updated Fenix brand identity and ensure all brand guidelines are maintained within local Fenix markets to the highest standard and aligned with strategic partners as applicable
• When necessary, start on-the-ground marketing activities in new and emerging Fenix markets, delivering fast revenue growth in the local market’s early stages
• Support the execution of local country marketing and communications plans with regular check-ins to support progress
• Support large-scale internal communications projects such as newsletters, events and other initiatives
• Manage social media channels for Fenix and create guidelines and best practices for Fenix countries
• Manage journalists and production companies enquiries, interview requests and field visits and take an active role in PR activities and plans.
• Manage the suite of Fenix media assets, including imagery, raw video footage and other documents
• Be an active advocate for the Fenix culture across all Fenix markets to inspire commitment to our values and ensure we all work as a “Fenix Family”

Requirements
• Working business proficiency in English and French
• Minimum experience of 3 years in marketing or advertising, ideally at a startup or advertising agency
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Government, Journalism, English, or related field
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communications skills; should be able to write in the voice of others
• Excellent project management skills and great attention to detail
• Highly innovative and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; excited to collaborate with individuals ranging from our CEO to our rural customers
• Experience developing internal marketing and communications strategies, channels, and events
• Familiarity and experience managing social media channels
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Passion for Fenix’s mission, customers across Africa
