Main tasks and responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Education Specialist:
Enhance capacity building and organisational systems to guide institute in the daily operations to ensure quality delivery in all interventions.

Specific tasks of the Education Specialist:
• Provide lead support in the development and implementation of capacity building programs for all education officers, including orientation of the new staff;
• Provide support for material development for academic courses;
• Participate in supervision of students’ research;
• Participate in academic and professional research as may be required;
• Provide support in expression of interest, concept notes, proposals for new projects and sponsors in the fields of education, child protection, human rights and others.

Essential Requirements
Education:
• Master degree in Education or PHD (Arts and Humanity subjects preferred)
• Work experiences:
• At least 10 years teaching experience in primary or secondary schools (or at university level). Fluent written and spoken English is a must. Candidates should be available to travel often in country and in other African countries.

Required skills and experiences
• Additional experiences: Familiarity of the main social issues within disadvantage context
• Hard Skills: good organizational skills, excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Soft Skills: outstanding communication capability, good team leader
