Job Purpose / Objective:
i. Responsible for supporting materials testing, quality assurance, and monitoring the performance of construction materials used in road projects. T
ii. Assists in ensuring that materials meet engineering specifications, comply with standards, and contribute to the durability and safety of road construction projects.
iii. Provide technical support, assist in materials testing, and contribute to the quality control of construction materials used in road construction projects.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Materials Testing:
i. Assist in conducting laboratory and field tests on construction materials such as aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and soil.
ii. Follow standardized testing procedures and protocols.
2. Quality Control:
i. Assist in verifying the quality, properties, and performance of construction materials.
ii. Participate in quality control processes to ensure materials meet engineering specifications.
3. Data Collection and Analysis:
i. Collect and record data from tests accurately and systematically.
ii. Assist in analyzing test results and identifying trends or deviations.
4. Documentation:
i. Maintain organized records of test results, procedures, and documentation.
ii. Prepare reports and documentation required for project records and regulatory compliance.
5. Material Selection: Assist in evaluating and selecting construction materials based on engineering requirements and project conditions.
6. Safety Compliance:
i. Follow safety protocols and guidelines during material handling and testing.
ii. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with laboratory staff, engineers, and project managers to provide accurate testing support.
8. Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
