Bahari forwarders limited is a transport, clearing and forwarding company operating within East Africa region with offices in Kenya and Uganda and currently seeking to recruit for the following positions for our Uganda
operations:

Heavy Commercial Drivers – REF.BFUL004

Job Purpose: safely and efficiently driving of trucks, deliver cargo to appointed designation observing all transport rules and maintaining good customer service.

Key Roles & responsibilities
• Ensure the truck is operated safely and efficiently observing all safety rules and company regulations.
• Achieve set targets on truck turnaround days on routes.
Ensure all loaded cargo is properly secured and delivered intact to the customers on timely basis.
• Ensure accuracy in completion of all delivery documents by ensuring that they are signed off and as defined in the company procedures.
• Ensure all defects and malfunction on trucks are
• reported to the garage to enable repairs and maintenance and avoid further defects occasioned by operating and driving defective vehicles on the road.

Desired skills and Qualifications
• Possess a clean heavy commercial driving license.
• Aged between 35-45 years
• Over 8 years’ experience of driving trucks in east Africa region.
• Must have attained 0-level education.
