The role will involve the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile apps, with a focus on creating high-performance, user-friendly, and scalable solutions appropriate to the local context. The candidate should have experience with Airtable or a similar relational database. Familiarity with machine learning and AR is a plus. The role will require some time being spent in Gulu, Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop new features for our Android apps
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Test and debug apps to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues that may arise during development Key Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience developing Android apps
• Strong understanding of Java and Android SDK
• Experience with Airtable or similar relational database integrations
• Familiarity with machine learning is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
• Openness to listen to key stakeholders and account for cultural differences
