Job Description
Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function:
Learn Oilfield Production Operations and Maintenance Work.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in new oil field production commissioning and start-up.
• Assist in collecting, identifying and following up on production-related issues left out by the engineering unit, try to resolve them and report abnormalities to senior operators.
Learn to manage emergency response as per emergency response plan.
Learn the production process, central control system, ESD, Fire & Gas system, equipment parameters and operation procedure, chemical MSDS and characteristics, system initial and normal start-up procedure, system normal and emergency shutdown procedure.
• Assist to carry out routine operations, deal with production abnormalities to avoid production shutdown, equipment damage or any petroleum-related leaking.
• Assist to operate oil water gas and chemical processes, maintain process stability, treat oil and water to meet specifications.
• Participate in production-related equipment, normal routine checks and records, and report abnormalities to senior operators in Participate

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or related fields.
• At least 0-2 years’ work experience is preferred with Oil & Gas industry background.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of development and production.
