Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized University/Institution. He/She should be licensed and registered by with the Uganda Veterinary Board

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience as Veterinary Officer in Government.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Veterinary Officer for performing the following duties:-
– Carrying out surgical intervention on livestock;
– Training staff and farmers on new technologies;
– Monitoring activities of private practitioners in order to conform to the Government standards;
– Reporting regularly on activities of the Sector;
– Supervising regulation activities on livestock trade and movement;
– Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
