Job Description
ROLES
• To manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing. hiring and on boarding.
To ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
• To develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities. d) To create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys, keeps the strategy up to date.
• To investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution. To analyse trends in compensation and benefits.
• To ensure the Association’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• To use performance management tools to provide guidance and feed back to team.
• To ensure all the Association Human Resource Policies are applied consistently.
• To maintain the Association chats and employee directory.
• To partner with the National Scouts Leadership to ensure strategic Human Resource Goals are aligned with business initiatives.
• To maintain the Human Resource systems and processes. 1) To conduct performance and salary reviews.
• To provide support and guidance to the Human Resource staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
• Must have a working experience of at least five (5) years in a busy organizational set up.
• Membership of the Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda will be an added advantage.
