Job Description


Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities
• Assist in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information

Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods

Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement needs

Assist in conducting supplier evaluations and performance reviews
• Support the procurement team in administrative tasks and reporting

Requirements
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in a procurement or administrative role is an advantage

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
