Key Responsibilities:
Project inception and planning
• Through the consortium, participate in planning and budgeting, preparation of work plans, implementation of planned SRHR-Education nexus activities and monitoring/ reporting of progress.
• Facilitate and monitor the implementation of planned activities for in and out of school adolescents.

Mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops and other fora.
• Support identification, capacity assessment and implementation of activities assigned to local partners.

Conduct stakeholder and beneficiaries mapping for the SRHR-education nexus project.

Support project inception meetings at district level in partnership with the consortium members.
• Map SRHR/SGBV referral points for service access.

Project implementation
• Innovatively support adolescents in and out of school, and communities including households to participate and benefit from the SRHR and SGBV services.
• Mobilize and sensitize communities and adolescents including, community leaders and other community members to participate in the SRHR & SGBV programs.
• Build the capacity of adolescents (in and out of school), families and communities to collectively engage local leaders on identified SRHR & SGBV issues.
• Follow-up on commitments by local leaders on improvement of the SRHR & SBGV issues at the community and district level.
• Mobilize communities to participate in SRHR/SGBV community outreaches, youth friendly spaces and in the go back to school campaign for teenage mothers.
• Compile issue reports and position papers for sharing with relevant stakeholders at sub county and district level.
• Engage Cultural and Faith leaders in implementation of SRHR & SGBV service delivery in communities.
• Facilitate counseling and mentorship programmes in schools to support the reintegration of adolescent mothers, ensuring their educational continuity and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Coordinate the ‘Go Back to School’ campaigns by engaging schools, teachers and the district education office to support teenage mothers in re-enrolling in school.
• Support schools to establish SRHR-friendly environments through the creation of youth-friendly health corners within schools where adolescents can access SRHR services.
• Communicate and work with school structures, local health facilities and Community Health Workers to address SRHR issues identified in schools and communities monthly.
• Support the design and rollout of the SRHR/SGBV materials in and out of school.
• Support functionality of the community health structures to deliver SRHR/SGBV/RMNCAH services.
• Establish functional local level advocacy groups to improve quality delivery of SRHR/SGBV service.

Projection Monitoring, reporting and evaluation
• Collaborate with school administrators to collect and analyze SRHR-related data from schools (e.g. teenage pregnancy rates, dropout rates and re-enrollment data).
• Compile monitoring reports for management action and participate in updating of the databases of the different SRHR/SGBV models.
• Work with district education and health officials to integrate school-based SRHR data into broader health and education monitoring frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
• Support the district health and district education office to review and analyze SRHR &SGBV data for impact and relevant feedback to the community teams.
• Conduct quarterly data driven reflection meetings with the district health and education office at district level and follow-up on agreed actions.
• Build the capacity of district focal persons (EMIS, DEO, DHO, teachers, health workers, peer educations, community health workers etc) to report on SRHR-Education Nexus activities.
• Facilitate stakeholders and partners to conduct support supervision and monitoring of SRHR & SGBV activities in schools and communities.
• Monitor the wellbeing and child abuse cases and report any incidents in line with child protection policy and guidelines.

Budget utilization and monitoring
• Implement activities based on approved budget
• Track budgets to ensure they are within expected burn rates
