Job Description


Uganda Wildlife Research & Training Institute (UWRTI) is a semi-autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, established by Uganda Wildlife Research & Training Institute Act, 2016. The Institute is mandated to: “Undertake research and training services for sustainable conservation and management of Uganda’s wildlife resources”

WRTI, an equal opportunity employer seeks to recruit high Callbre, seli-motivated and result oriented Ugandan nationals to fill the positions below:

The applicants should not be more than 55 years of age at the time of application.

Application Procedure

All suitable, qualified and interested candidates with relevant experience should address applications to;

  1. The Senior Human Resource Officer, Uganda Wildlife Research and Training Institute.
  2. Send your application by email; [email protected] or hand deliver to the Senior Human Resource Office at UWRTI, located in Katwe Kabatoro Town council, Kasese District.
  3. Attach all relevant academic documents, appointment letters, Recommendation letter from your previous employer and a copy of your National Identification Card.
  4. Merge all your documents and send them in one PDF attachment format not exceeding 2MBs.
  5. The closing date for receiving applications is Tuesday
    25th February, 2025 at 5pm.
