Job Description


Controller, the Quality controller is responsible for raw materials, packaging material,

and finished goods analysis, compiling and issuing reliable analytical results, records,

and reports, to ensure compliance with internal and external laboratory operating

procedures, policies and standards. If you are performance driven, possess

exceptional organizational and planning skills, excel in problem -solving, and have

the ability to motivate others, we would want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Inspection and Analysis of starting materials, Packaging materials and raw

materials

  • Analysis of bulk and finished products attributes and parameters
  • Preparation of certificates of compliance of materials and products and all raw

data records.

  • Incident investigation and handling in the Lab for OOS
  • Training of fellow laboratory controllers on activities conducted
  • Participate in external and internal audits/inspections
  • Sampling of materials, products following sampling plans
  • Documentation of raw data pertaining every batch in log books and BMRs
  • Microbial sampling and analysis as per scheduled intervals
  • Preparation of reagent and volumetric solutions
  • Approving products after cleaning equipment, preventive maintenance
  • Ensuring line clearance is done upon changing to new batch
  • Methods validation execution
  • Confirm completion of the batch for release to stores by appending approval stickers
  • Control of manufacturing processes through in process quality control checks
    followed by control chart graphical presentation.
  • Prepare monthly reports on analytical activities to evaluate quality given the
    generated results.
  • Monitor stocks of lab consumable items like logbooks, microbial sampling
    swabs, chemicals etc.
  • Approve production go ahead after confirming customer sample reference
    matching the manufactured item.
  • Supervising the line during manufacturing
  • Minimum Experience :1+ year as a Quality Analyst in a busy Manufacturing
    Plant.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology Chemistry or
    Pharmaceuticals (Male Fresh and Waiting for graduation candidates) are as
    well encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge in English (verbal and written)

Expected salary:
Salary offered for this position is between Gross 688,500/- subject to all
statutory deduction like PAYE, NSSF & Local service tax
