Baikal Financial Services Limited is a growing microfinance institution dedicated to empowering communities through innovative digital financial solutions. As we expand our technology-driven microfinance platform, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Mifos / Fineract Developer to join our IT team.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Customize and enhance Mifos X / Apache Fineract for microfinance operations.
• Develop new modules, APIs, and features as per business requirements.
• Integrate the system with external services (mobile money, CRB, payment gateways).
• Configure loan, savings, and client management products.
• Manage data migration and branch system setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with business teams to define and implement solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user training.

Qualifications or requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Mifos X / Apache Fineract.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Framework, MySQL, REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Angular/React, Linux, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of microfinance workflows, loan lifecycle, and accounting modules.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
