Job Summary (Main Purpose)

C-Care Uganda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary cardiovascular team at C-Care IHK.

Main Duties/Responsibilities.

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cardiovascular care.
• Contribute to the development of protocols, patient pathways, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, and clinical research activities.

Key Skills and Competencies

Qualifications

Formal education required for competence in the job

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Cardiology. Registration and valid license with the relevant Medical Council.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.

Experience

• At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience in an accredited cardiac centre.

Behavioural Competencies

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
