Job Description


Ranchers Finest (U) Ltd is hiring a Channel Manager-Betar Butcher Shops responsible for managing the Betar Butcher shops, ensuring the successful launch and ongoing management of products. This is a high-execution role requiring a hands-on leader who can drive daily sales targets, manage complex logistics, ensure operational excellence, and build a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy & Performance Management

Target Achievement: Deploy aggressive sales strategies to ensure every location meets its daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets.

Data Analysis: Track and report on daily sales per location. Analyze trends to identify high-performing shops and those requiring intervention.

Reporting: Provide detailed sales and operational reports to headquarters, highlighting wins and areas for improvement.

  1. Operations & Logistics

Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and coordinate daily deliveries to ensure zero stock-outs while minimizing waste.

Asset Management: Ensure all equipment, specifically fridges and freezers, are fully functioning and serviced to maintain product quality and safety standards.

Location Analysis: continually evaluate current shop locations for viability and assist in scouting and validating new locations for market expansion.

  1. People Leadership

Recruitment: Review, interview, and hire Shop Managers who align with the Betar Butcher brand standards.

Management: oversee the performance of 11 Shop Managers, providing coaching, discipline, and motivation to ensure high customer service standards.

  1. Brand Growth & Market Testing

Activations: Plan and execute on-ground activations to drive foot traffic and brand awareness in specific territories.

Product Testing: Lead the in-market testing of new meat products, gathering customer feedback to inform production decisions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Related Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business administration or any other relevant field.
  • Demonstrated sales and/or training with ability to utilize consultative sales techniques
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • At least 3 years of experience in field sales and marketing in a busy FMCG environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
  • Experience handling major accounts in a B2B selling environment will be an added advantage.
