Job Description


Hugamara Group is looking for Butchers in Kampala to handle professional meat cutting, portioning, and marination for our Central Kitchen!

Responsibilities or duties

  • Cut, debone, trim, and portion various meats (beef, poultry, lamb, fish) according to company standards.
  • Execute meat marination and seasoning preparations based on approved recipes and production plans.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, stock rotation, and minimize wastage.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards while cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Certificate or training in Butchery, Food Production, or a related field (an added advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of meat handling and storage; experience in high-volume hospitality or Central Kitchen setups is preferred!

Experience needed

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in professional butchery operations.
