Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join NBS Sport, a brand of Next Media Group. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving advertising sales and promotional partnerships across NBS Sport platforms, including television, digital, social media, and other commercial properties. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop tailored advertising solutions that meet client objectives while contributing to the commercial growth of the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across various industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Sell advertising space and promotional opportunities across NBS Sport’s television, digital, website, social media, and other media platforms.
  • Meet with clients to understand their advertising and communication objectives and recommend tailored media solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial pitches.
  • Negotiate advertising agreements and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with programming, production, digital, and marketing teams to deliver effective client campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client database, and regular sales reports.
  • Monitor media, sports sponsorship, and advertising trends to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Represent NBS Sport at client meetings, sporting events, networking engagements, and other industry functions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account  management, or business development, preferably within the media, sports, or advertising industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and successfully close business opportunities.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with media platforms, digital advertising, and sports sponsorship opportunities is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is an added advantage.
