Laboratory Technician – 1 Position

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory investigations and support accurate and timely diagnosis by ensuring proper specimen handling, testing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, collect, and process patient specimens.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests according to approved procedures.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record, verify, and report test results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory quality control and safety standards.
• Monitor laboratory supplies and assist with stock  management.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results.
• Observe infection prevention and waste-management procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology/Sciences.
• Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council.
• Relevant laboratory experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
