Registered Midwife – 1 Position

Job Summary:
The Registered Midwife will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide antenatal and postnatal care to mothers.
• Monitor pregnancies and identify potential complications.
• Conduct and assist with safe deliveries according to professional standards.
• Provide immediate care to newborns and mothers after delivery.
• Educate mothers on breastfeeding, nutrition, family planning, and newborn care.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies.
• Maintain accurate maternity and patient records.
• Support reproductive and maternal health programmes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Midwifery/Nursing and Midwifery.
• Valid registration and practicing licence.
• Relevant experience in maternity care is preferred.
• Compassionate, professional, and able to work effectively in a team.
